Transit Van Back Doors Not Locking

Hi i have a ford transit lwb 2009 the problem is the side door will not lock with central locking key fob but front and rear tail doors do so was advise that the side door locking mechanism at fault read more.

I have two fob but none worked if i try to open the back doors or reset the central locking by turning the the key on off 8 times in 10. The reason the doors lock then unlock is because the electronics of the cdl system are seeing an open door this is often caused by a fault to the latch or wiring to the back doors. You will pay a big bill getting you re van on the back of a truck compared to the cost of a ring. I have a problem with my lwb ford transit 350 i can open the drivers door with key i can t open the passager door i can only open and lock the sliding manually i can t access the back doors from inside or open it.

I m pretty sure it s not a mechanical issue unless a sensor has just failed anyone have any. Ford have tested key and it is transmitting. I think i ve somehow managed to upset the central locking on my transit mk7 as when you lock it all up it seems to think there s a door still open in the back locks the front only and then beeps. Ford transit custom key budget so far 300 for keys and 150 for an ignition plus 150 for a new door lock and 300 for security locks oh and the ignition ring makes it 1000.
